In testing
The Speaks API for your own software
The Speaks API lets your own software place calls, build call lists and read results over REST. It offers the same actions as the dashboard, with a key that only gets the permissions you give it.
Coming soon. This is what Speaks is being built to do, and not all of it works yet.
› POST /api/tasks✓ Task created, nothing dialled› POST /api/tasks/:id/call✓ Calling› GET /api/calls/:id✓ Transcript, outcome and cost
Keys with limits
Each key gets read, write or calling permission, and it’s limited to 240 requests a minute. You can revoke it at any time.
The same rules
The API runs through the same checks as the dashboard, so nothing gets round your do-not-call list or calling limits.
Logged
Every change made through a key is written to the audit log, with the key’s name.
Be first on the line.
Speaks is coming soon. Tell us what you want it to do first, and we’ll call you when your turn comes.
